the real change I want to see in America.
Happy Tuesday folks! I am just going to leave this right here…
“No matter who runs the country, I still serve the Lord. I honor those in charge, and will pray behind whoever is elected, because that is what the Bible tells us to do. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 says, “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” And yes, I will vote for the candidates who best upholds the standards of morality that coincide with the Bible, because contrary to popular belief… that is what our nation was founded upon. However, my allegiance is not to a political party, but to Jesus Christ. That is what many are missing in this election process. The problems we are experiencing in our nation are not matters of politics, but because we have taken God out of our nation, constitution, schools, and almost every infrastructure. True change will come when we fall back in love with Jesus. That is the real change I want in America.”
“God is the sovereign Lord of all events, who rules history to fulfill His purposes. What His will determines, His power carries out. No leader, army, government, or council can stand in God’s way.”
You have the privilege of being able to VOTE! We are blessed here in the great U.S. of A and you shouldn’t ever take that for granted! I have heard people say, “I don’t like any of the candidates so I am not voting this year.” Well, there are faults with each one but how about you pray about it and vote for the lesser of the two evils. Also, don’t complain about anything if you do not vote. You didn’t do YOUR part so don’t open your mouth about not liking this or that when you didn’t go and try and do something about it! Also, don’t make excuses about why you didn’t go vote either! I went by myself with my 4 month old who was a sweet angel child the whole time I waited in a very long line. Then right about the time I was casting my ballot he lost his mind then proceeded to spit up all over himself. But, hey we still voted! If you didn’t vote in the Primary Election, be sure you do on General Election Day, November 8th! If you aren’t registered click here and you can do that!
