Easter at the Grahams
I love decorating my home, in case some of you may have missed that! 😉 I love Spring, and I love Easter! I was actually born on Easter Sunday, twenty some years ago.. fun little fact of the day. Here is a little look into our home this Easter…
Most of the decor is from the Target dollar bins, who doesn’t love a good Target dollar spot deal? Seriously, I’ve been known to get a little crazy in that section! But, the Kate Spade China is not located in the dollar spot unfortunately, you can find those beauties here though.
We got Theo’s cute little Easter basket from an Etsy shop called MaxJBoutique, they have tons of monogrammed cuteness. If you’re southern, you can appreciate a good monogram, so be sure to check them out!
The Easter Story Egg is going to be a new tradition we start with Theo this year. It’s a tradition that celebrates and teaches children about the true meaning of Easter. It includes a book and seven wooden nesting eggs. You start on Palm Sunday and end on Easter Sunday. Each egg tells a story that relates to the certain day of the Holy Week. I am really excited about starting this and even though Theo may not quite understand, he will one day! You can check out more about the Easter Story Egg here.
We also love doing a fun craft with Theo every holiday! This year we did a bunny out of his foot print. It’s really fun to look back at how much he has grown, and I love decorating with all of his artwork as well. We also do a couple prints so that we can mail out the grandparents a fun little card too, which they totally love!
What do you guys do for Easter traditions? This weekend, we will go to Sunday morning church service, then off to my grandparents’ house with my family and extended family, and have a big lunch and egg hunt. I’m excited and looking forward to a fun weekend celebrating our risen King!
“He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what He told you back in Galilee, the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that He would rise again on the third day.” Luke 24:6-7
