A Festive, Fall Update!
I can’t believe how quickly October and November flew by! And, it’s nearly birth month for baby number 2?! HOW?! Anyway, I wanted to share some of our sweet, fall moments with you guys. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, chunky, knit sweaters, apple crisp, warm cinnamon lattes, the list goes on. Fall also brings about the sweetest celebrations…our anniversary and Theo’s birthday!
We celebrated FOUR wonderful, beautiful years together. The past four years have been an adventure for sure! We got married, moved, bought a house, had a baby, got pregnant with baby number two, started a business, and so much more! One thing that has been a constant is our love and friendship. I always say Jonathan is my BEST FRIEND, and it’s so true. If something exciting happens, I want to tell him first, I would rather hang out with him than go out, if I go get a pedicure, I want him to come so we can talk the whole time…you get my point! He is my person. Do we have hard times? YEP. Do we disagree? Absolutely. But, at the end of the day we choose love, forgiveness, and to climb into bed and make it a priority to pray together. I am just crazy obsessed with my man and want to have all the little Graham babes!!
We also celebrated our first born in October. Our Theo bear turned three!!! I honestly never knew how fast it would fly by, and people always say, “it goes by so fast, enjoy it!” And when you’re in the trenches not sleeping, breastfeeding around the clock, and nuzzling your babe on your chest all day, you don’t really think about it. But, it truly does go by SO fast and in the blink of an eye you turn around and your baby boy is three, potty trained, and wants to get in his bed at night instead of being rocked for 30 minutes. Be still my heart. Theo is truly a gift, he has the sweetest spirit, he has a tender, gentle heart, he lives to make people smile and laugh, and is always up for an adventure. I am honored that God chose me to be his mama to steward him, lead him, and love him. But, at the end of the day, I surrender him over to the Lord and say, “God he’s yours, let your will be done.” I can want so badly for him to do this or that, but I want God’s will for his life most of all. I fail a ton and make so many mistakes, but the one thing I got right was having my angel boy. He has taught me so much and continues to teach me every single day and I’m just so, so thankful that we’ve gotten to do life with him for the last three years.
Our family has been truly blessed. I am just so overwhelmed and have literally cried the entire time I have typed this post because I am just thankful. So thankful for all that the Lord has done and will continue to do. I feel led to just share this word, if you’re in a season of dryness, barrenness, sickness, emptiness, loneliness, whatever season you are in, know that it’s just that, A SEASON. The Lord is not done writing your story. He created you for greatness and He wants to give you the desires of your heart. The Lord is not finished with you yet, and He will turn beauty from ashes. Not sure, who needed that, but there it is my sweet friend. Okay! Back to the update…
I love the changing of the seasons, it’s a beautiful thing. One thing that just makes my soul happy is decorating my house. I know it drives my husband nuts with a garage full of seasonal wreaths, decor, and bins of all the things, but there’s just something special to me about putting on my headphones, listening to some good praise music, and going to town decorating my house! It’s my therapy. With that being said, I just wanted to share a little look into our cozy home…
We finally upgraded our tiny couch to this big sectional, and we are obsessed, nothing better than curling up on the couch with my guys for a movie and popcorn. We ended up choosing this one from Ikea and are super pleased with our decision! Tonight, we were all three snuggled up together with fuzzy blankets, and I leaned over to Theo and said, “I love you.” He leaned back into me and said, “I love you more.” The sweetest ever.
One of my favorite and simple pieces that I love to admire in our kitchen is our oily shelf. I just love seeing all the plant power lined up and ready for action. To read more about our oils journey and why I choose oils over candles, check out this post. If you currently use oils, pop one of these delicious blends in your diffuser and thank me later…

I love our home! We have worked hard at making it as cozy as possible. We want it to be our sanctuary, our safe place. The place we can be ourselves, make memories, laugh, learn, and do life with each other and our babies. I want my boys to remember running around playing and laughing, building forts, watching movies, and snuggling on the couch. Our home may not be extravagant, but it sure is our haven and it’s just perfect for us.
Okay friends, the last thing I want to leave you with is one of my favorite recipes that is perfect for any season, especially for fall/winter because it brings together all the right hints of cinnamon, paired with apples, pears, and pumpkin which makes your home smell like a crisp apple pie!
WHOLE30/PALEO PUMPKIN, PEAR, + APPLE BREAKFAST BAKE:
INGREDIENTS:
+ 1 cup pumpkin puree
+ 3 eggs
+ 2/3 cup full fat coconut milk
+ 1 ripe banana
+ 1 large apple peeled and diced
+ 1 large pear pealed and diced
+ 2 drops Cinnamon Bark Vitality
+ 1 drop Nutmeg Vitality
+ 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8×8 baking dish with coconut oil. In a large bowl combine and mix pumpkin puree, eggs, coconut milk, banana, salt, one drop Cinnamon Bark, and one drop Nutmeg. In a separate bowl combine and mix chopped apples, pears, and one drop Cinnamon Bark Vitality. Now mix into the wet ingredients and pour into dish. Top with chopped walnuts and place in the oven. Bake for 30-40 minutes depending on your oven. The top will turn a nice golden brown. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
I hope you guys enjoy this yummy dish as much as our little family does!
