Lactation Energy Bites
One of my sweet friends brought me these treats a couple days after Finley was born, and I have made them almost weekly since. Trust me when I say that these little bites are so DELICIOUS. And bonus- they help boost milk supply! But, never fear if you aren’t lactating, you can still enjoy them too, just ask my hubs. I hope you guys enjoy these; you can easily add/change ingredients based on allergies + likes as well.
RECIPE:
- 2 CUPS DRY OATS
- 1 CUP ENJOY LIFE CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- 1 CUP CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER
- 3/4 CUP FLAXSEED
- 2/3 CUP HONEY
- 2 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
- 1 SCOOP PROTEIN POWDER (I LOVE MARY RUTH’S)
- 3 DROPS FENNEL VITALITY ESSENTIAL OIL
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Rub a little bit of coconut oil on your hands before rolling into balls. Store in the fridge. Like I mentioned earlier, you can easily omit the Fennel Vitality essential oil and change the peanut butter for almond butter, or whatever you like. I always seem to change the recipe up a bit when I make them and they always still manage to taste amazing! I hope y’all enjoy!!
